Kenya Entrepreneurship Empowerment Foundation (K.E.E.F) is a dynamic organization, committed to developing innovative initiatives that support and empower the lives of the youth in Kenya aged 18 to 35.

We provide professional and technical assistance while proactively seeking co-funding to support initiatives by young people and assist recipients to build their organizational capacity to ensure long term sustainability. K.E.E.F aims to maximize our impact by focusing on the following specific key areas:

  • Youth participation
  • Community contribution
  • Equity
  • Sustainable outcome

K.E.E.F was established in the year 2004 with an aim of working with under privileged youth in rural and urban areas.

To build capacity and structures to stimulate creativity, innovation and create employment among the youth in Kenya.

  • We believe in social justice and a fair and just society with equitable access to resources and opportunity for all.
  • We work in partnership with the youth and community to act as catalysts for change.
  • We use our voice to strengthen the outcome with young people.
  • We act with integrity in everything we do and are accountable for the action we take.

Increasing young entrepreneurs' access to loans, facilitating linkages in supply chains, creating commercial infrastructure and markets. The fund comprises five interlocking components namely:

  • Risk Mitigation & On-lending.
  • Vertical Integration & Linkages.
  • Commercial Infrastructure.
  • Market Access.
  • International Trade
  • International Jobs.
